I read that the art of Bonsai is also good for those who desire a bit of the outdoors in their home. With that in mind, in spring of 2010, I dug up some about a dozen seedlings of Japanese Maple from BF's daughter's lawn. From that bunch, I have 2 bonsai trees. I am definitely a novice at this, learning as I go. One is definitely in hibernation:

and the other has come out of hibernation awhile ago and has grown beautiful green leaves.
I want to grow some moss on the tops
of the bonsai... but not quite there yet.
Today would have been a great day for them to be outside but the weather is so unpredictable, I want to wait awhile.
