Valentine's Day and Veronica Persica

Happy Valentine's Day!

Some may call this a weed because it grows in the middle of a field...

but just like people, when you look at something or someone with a different perspective, beauty abounds!  Here it is...  A close up of one of the  flowers in beautiful afternoon sun.

 Her name is Veronica persica.  I borrowed this last picture from Bayer Cropscience as it is such a better quality picture.   A weed in some eyes, but a dainty flower in others.
