Cutting Evergreens

One of the nice things working on such a large piece of property where I am the only Horticulturist, is the fact that there is an abundance of fresh evergreens to cut for Holiday projects. Tuesday, we went out and cut fresh greens...white pine, holly, blue spruce, balsam fir, and fir trees with tiny pine cones! This is one opportunity to teach the guys about how to gather from nature but not disturb nature. Unfortunately, as we were tromping around, we came across several large empty beer cans... which destroyed the moment.
