Until I visited my folks, I had never seen mistletoe growing in trees. Honestly, I never knew it grew in trees... I had only seen it packaged in the stores. This Christmas while visiting my folks in NE Texas, my daughter was determined that she should have some of this plant. We harvested some carefully. By carefully, I meant that we used a pole trimmer while sitting on the roof of my Mom's car. It took two tries in order to get a clump that had the berries. 
Of course, there are some gratutious pictures of the 4 legged family members who were waiting for us to return.
