Easter Lilies

The shop smells fabulous... lilies are blooming, gardenias are starting to open, and we also have potted hyacinths and mini daffodils.

I have 3 areas that I am working with... the Flower Shoppe, The Greenhouse, and The FlowerBeds on campus.  Everyone wants something and they don't all coincide.   What fun!

  1. Wow, Kathy. Looks like gardening is on the fast track where you are. I'm way behind in garden cleanup and it's time for mulch! Gotta get a move on.

  2. Marie... this time of year is almost as hectic as Christmas for different reasons. Today, the shoppe smells fabulous and the gardenias are starting to bloom!

  3. I love Easter Lillis, but for us they were always fraught with stress. Many years they were shipped green, and our greenhouses were not warm enough to get the buds to open.

So it was always a big worry about if they would be saleable or not.

    Love yours, Jen

  4. MB-Yes, my easter lilies are fraught with stress.... will they sell? Ugh... trumpeting away because they are half open.

  5. I didn't have an Easter Lily for many years, but bought one this year. Wish I was closer to you, would have purchased one from your shop. Bought mine at Aldi's....it's gorgeous and still blooming like crazy. Not bad for $3.99.
